In 2004, YOFC got an ISO 14001 certificate issued by TüV Rheinland Group in Germany. It not only means that YOFC has already been up to the international standard on environmental management, but also means that YOFC will contribute further to the sustainable development of China by continuously reducing energy and resource consumption and decreasing damage to environment while improving its product and service quality.

In 2005, YOFC passed OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system audit, which can continuously improve overall management and minimize injuries and accidents during work and prevent hidden vocational diseases. It can also increase the cohesive force of the enterprise and enhance the economic performance and social benefits.

Since June of 2007, YOFC has been starting "Lean Production" advocated by deputy general managers Niels Gade and Li Longqin. Based on the analysis of value stream, YOFC strives to enhance enterprise competitiveness by minimizing energy consumption and production cost while increasing productivity and product quality.

Since September of 2007, YOFC has been starting "Clean Production" in order to make more contributes to the construction of a resource-efficient, environment-friendly society through the measures of reducing energy, cost, and discharge.

Began in September of 2008, YOFC set up social accountability management system based on SA8000:2008 standard, passed certification audit conducted by BV France in June of 2009 and got the certificate accredited by SAI international organization, which again shows YOFC’s high sense of responsibility towards the society.
