With the rapid development of communication industry, the duct resources for cable deployment in cities become scarce. Moreover, the traditional way of cable deployment requires the excavation of city streets for duct laying, which causes pollution, traffic hold-ups and economic loss.

YOFC takes the lead in creating the idea of taking advantage of sewer pipes for cable deployment in China. Then, a new product - sewer pipe cable has been developed to solve the above-mentioned problem. This product has many advantages such as simple and compact structure, good flexibility, light weight, low cost, steady performance and easy installation. Since it possesses the characteristics of both duct cables and aerial cables, the adoption of this cable makes the whole network construction much easier.

So far, YOFC has provided total 100km-long storm sewer pipe cables to the following telecommunication carriers: China Network Communication (CNC) Southwest Branch, Heilongjiang Telecom Kiamusze Branch, Liaoning Telecom Jinzhou Branch, Heilongjiang Telecom Suihua Branch, Yunnan Unicom and Sichuan Mobile, and etc. These cables are still in good operation with maximum fiber counts up to 120.
