With the great support from you, YOFC made new achievements in market and sales, R&D, innovation, social accountability and management last year.

1. The total sales volume of preform, fibre and cable has created a record high by surpassing 30 million fkm with the turnover exceeding 5 billion RMB, 11% up over 2008.
2. Facing the global financial crisis, the company has strived for stable development in the overseas markets and gained an export income of more than 50 million USD.
3. The company has been ranked No.1 in terms of output and sales volume in the Chinese fibre and cable market for 18 consecutive years and No. 2 in terms of output in the worldwide fibre market for 3 consecutive years.
4. YOFC has commercialized a series of bend insensitive fibres compliant with G.657A2, which have been widely applied in FTTx projects.
5. YOFC has built up strategic partnership with China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom and signed the strategic cooperation agreement with each.
6. YOFC has completed the 8th fibre expansion project for introducing a preform stretching tower and making technical modification on the drawing towers and launched the 9th fibre expansion project for further expanding the production capacity.
7. YOFC is actively involved in establishing the social accountability system and has obtained the SA8000 certificate.
8. YOFC has invested in and set up YOFC XMKJ Optical Communications Company and YOFC XMKJ Optical Cable Company and acquired a part of shares in SDGI Optical Fibre Company. The members in YOFC group are increasing and the total strength is being enhanced continuously.
